Metacortex is building private, portable memory for LLMs**.** Today, context is fragmented across apps, agents forget what matters, and every new tool has to rebuild your history from scratch. With Metacortex, users bring their knowledge with them and granularly permission what AI applications can interact with. We’re an early, VC-backed team (by Cyberfund, Delphi Labs, NEAR and Illia Polosukhin).

Our founders previously built a company that raised $30M+ and scaled to $5B in GMV. Now we’re starting again from first principles, combining deep technical backgrounds with a proven track record of shipping breakthrough products.

The Role

We’re looking for a hungry founding Fullstack Engineer who can move fast across the entire stack and ship features end-to-end. You’ll work closely with our product team and CTO to turn ideas into production systems, balancing rapid iteration with minimal, well-tested code. This is a strong IC role; you’ll own projects and make them real.

What You’ll Do

• Build core product features across frontend (TypeScript) and backend (Python).
• Collaborate with product to shape requirements and translate them into working systems.
• Take ownership of feature specification, implementation, and delivery.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with founders and early engineers.
• Push the boundaries of what’s possible with state-of-the-art AI tooling.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years experience as a fullstack engineer, with fluency in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience working directly with SOTA AI tooling like Claude Code.
• Strong communicator who can work closely with product stakeholders.
• Bias toward minimal, clean, well-tested code.
• Comfort with rapid iteration and high-ownership environments.
